All of us aware about the present situation of COVID-19 . On 22 nd march Janata curfew, then lockdown in different phases of intervals affects every area of our life under the title of stay home stay safe online teaching is how much effective , this I will try to present here through my paper. Everything has its own advantages and disadvantages. Online teaching saves time of going to work place, it also saves the problems faced due to traffic-.jams , pollution. It creates physical environment of class room learning by verifying class attendance. It could be performed through recorded anywhere anytime, same time it has some disadvantages also, it doesn’t create emotional bonding between the teacher and student. It does not create close companion-ship, it may deteriorate socialization which develops in offline teaching during through the medium of field trip, lab activities, preparation of science models during science exhibition.Online teaching does not provide helping attitude among the students like offline teaching- learning. It does not develops the important life skills like tolerance patience which automatically develops in class room teaching these are the some advantages and disadvantages l would like to share with you. But overall in my opinion, in this covid-19 situation online education provides best alternative source for the teaching-learning process
