In developing country like India, human resource management and development
play a vital role in the progress and development of the nation. Economy of any country
depends upon what type of human resources it has. The excellence of human
resources depends upon the talent of quality which is unusually good and so surpasses
ordinary standards.
Teachers are an important community of the society and pillars for the future
generation. The excellence of this community is very essential for the overall
development of the society. This paper deals with the pursuit of teacher’s excellence
quality enhancement. This also includes meaning of excellence and discusses the
different components of the pursuit of their excellence like, personal excellence,
emotional intelligence and communication skill, continuous professional development,
writing and presenting skill, professional responsibility, Academic leadership,
knowledge sharing and learn from the students, motivation and creative thinking skills
and linkages with the other institutions.
